So I'm nosing around Ebay, and I decided to search for fuzzy socks, and I come across this auction...

Well worn? And trashed? They have a hole in them? We spent money for the listing, as well as additional fees to put up additional pictures, listed them at 4.99, and we're going to charge shipping also??

Bleh!

Is this some sort of sick group of people? What's the: private listing with discreet shipping??

To top it off, Mudslinger happens to glance over and asks why I am looking at dirty socks on Ebay....I feel like I need to go take a bath now....

Darby, I have been cracking up ever since I read that part. I said the exact same thing out loud...to myself!! LOL!

It used to be legal to sell used underwear on eBay. I have a young male friend who supplemented his work-study college job by selling used ladies' panties. He would buy well-worn, unwashed panties from female friends, pop them into Ziplocs and sell them for $20 and up per pair. He made a lot of extra money this way.

Yep, it's a fetish thing for sure. I knew of someone who made a lot of money selling used panties on eBay back in the day, and for a moment I considered it too, since people were paying ridiculous amounts of money for them. I even came up with a hilarious seller name if I decided to do it and set up a separate account. It was gonna be called MySweetSistersCloset. :lol:

But alas, eBay changed their rules regarding stuff like that, so I never did it. Stuck to just selling crafts and my old 80's glam clothes. The cross dressers just loved my glitzy shimmery 80's clothes! :lol:

That's what I wondered, especially with the other auction for the $9.99 socks. The positioning of the woman'sl egs in the pictures was a bit of a telltale. I would have never thought to sell undies like that...LOL At least it was a win-win situation...LOL

I'm not. They keep popping up in my search for "fuzzy socks" on E-bay. Now that warmer weather is rolling around, I can't wear my winter fuzzy socks. They actually have fuzzy socks that are ankle style. They are nice to wear around the house, especially when I'm cold with the air running.

My sense of adventure is intact when it comes to trying new foods, traveling to new places and I'm even open to doing things like zip lining (had a conversation with an 80 year old at our family reunion who was planning to do this, btw) but I draw the line at yucky panties and used socks. Ick!
